At Green Leaf, Kate works with kids and families. She has extensive experience working with children and families who are coping with challenging circumstances. She helps children work through big emotions such as sadness, anger, and anxiety and teaches parents how to support their kids during these difficult moments. She specializes in providing parent coaching with the goal of helping families so that children can feel heard and validated while also developing more helpful and adaptive behaviors. Kate works from a "trauma-informed" perspective and takes a "strengths-based" approach to finding and developing the clients own gifts and talents. Kate brings a goal-focused approach to therapy and integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy techniques into her work. Kate is supervised by fellow Green Leaf clinician, Sandra Concannon, LMFT #52807.
