Meet Mackenzie
At Green Leaf, Mackenzie provides therapy for children, teens, and their families. She has experience working with clients across all stages of development—from elementary school through young adulthood—and specializes in supporting kids navigating emotional dysregulation, anxiety, OCD, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and self-harm. Mackenzie also works with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, using a compassionate and strengths-based approach.
Mackenzie creates a safe, welcoming space where children and teens feel understood and supported as they build confidence and learn to manage difficult emotions. Her approach is holistic and draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Play Therapy.
Growing up in the Bay Area, Mackenzie understands the unique pressures and struggles local children and teens face today. She is passionate about helping kids build confidence, overcome fears, and strengthen family relationships. Mackenzie is currently supervised by fellow Green Leaf clinician Sandra Concannon, LMFT #52807.
I am passionate about seeing kids overcome their fears, helping families strengthen their bonds, supporting people to realize their hopes and dreams.
- Mackenzie
My goal for my sessions is to create a safe and welcoming environment that my clients want to return to. Therapy can be an intimidating thing to face, and I hope to foster a relationship with my clients so they feel safe and comfortable to work through any barriers or worries that may arise.
