Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is the presence of persistent, unwanted thoughts, paired with behavioral responses. This combination of thoughts and behaviors can be quite distressing for individuals, impact their lives, and the lives of their loved ones. At Green Leaf, we can help. We work with people of all ages with OCD. We help the client and their family better understand what's going on and use CBT strategies, including exposure and acceptance-based strategies to target the problem behavior and help people fully live their lives!
Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors
Body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRB's) are repetitive actions that involve the body. This may include hair pulling (trichotillomania), skin picking, or nail biting. Often these behaviors can become harmful, both physically and emotionally. Green Leaf clinicians can help. We will work with the client to better understand their own behavior and develop a multi-prong plan to reduce these behaviors.
